Street Ghosts:
Street Ghosts is a interesting project that examines the impact of Google’s Street View project and asks whether that data is misappropriated. Sponsored by Eyebeam NYC, Street Ghosts takes existing images of people on Google Earth, and then creates life sized printed images of them that are placed in the exact location that they were previously photographed. This work sparked an interesting, in-office, conversation about how search media is walking the line of public and private interests.
